||🍔 LOCAL BEEF, LIKE....REALLY REALLY LOCAL 🍔||
Did you know that for over 3 years, we have been working with father and son hobby farmers, Justin and Wilbur Colley from the neighboring community of East Preston?
Justin and Wilbur have helped us to find a home for the spent grain from the brewing process by collecting it and using it as feed for their cattle.
We connected Justin and Wilbur with our friend Brianna of @vesselmeats to see if Justin and Wilbur could sell their beef to Brianna, who could process it and deliver it to our kitchens to use in our burgers. Brianna made it happen, and since 2022, we have been using Justin and Wilbur’s beef for our burgers.
It is a hobby farm, so they don’t provide 100% of our beef, but for this Burger Bash burger, we have coordinated with Brianna, Justin, and Wilbur to use only their beef for the Borbon Legend. Now that is local! Cheers to Justin, Wilbur, and Brianna!
