LAST DAY TO REGISTER! This event is a perfect opportunity to unwind, relax, and tap into your creativity, while supporting scholarships for emerging artists. We will experience a creative form of meditation and embrace how our imagination unfolds. You are encouraged to notice your breath, thoughts, emotions, sensations while making your art journal. There is no wrong way to do it, just allow yourself to get into the zone and have fun!
The workshop will finish up with a group display of the journals and further instructions on how to use it. Keep for yourself, or give as a meaningful Mother’s Day gift!
Materials provided: Large sheet paper, acrylic paint, inks, markers, watercolour pencils, collage glue, paper tape and twine.
Assortment of tools for mark making.
What you should bring: Scissors and a ruler. Bring your own paper ephemera (ie. paper memorabilia such as ticket stubs, old letters, vintage newsprint, gift wrap, etc), that you may want to collage into your journal.
All proceeds will go to the Nova Scotia Talent Trust. @nstalenttrust
