📣 Introducing a new Korean Chungmu Kimbap starting this weekend! 🌟
Chungmu kimbap is a local food that originated from the Korean coastal city of “Chungmu” (The old name of Tongyong city nowadays.) Fishermen’s wives packed lunches for their husbands working at sea, and instead of normal kimbap, which fillings spoil easily, they rolled kimbap with only seasoned rice and served with a delicious side using radish and squid. The spicy and sweet radish kimchi and squid salad match perfectly with the plain rice kimbap and have eventually spread all over South Korea.
Now you can enjoy it here in Halifax. Would you like to try a hearty fisherman’s wives’ delicious lunch?
See you every Sat. 8-2, Sun. 10-2 at the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market!
